Bio Nano Technology


The discipline of using biological nanomachines to accomplish the goals of Nano Tech, rather than trying to engineer things from scratch.

Not such a bad idea: one put forward by Greg Bear in 'Blood Music'...

An excellent, beautiful and easily accessible book about life at the molecular level, from a mechanical point of view, is The Machinery Of Life.
