Cory Doctorow


A Canadian techno-sage who, amongst other things, writes SF. As a day job, he is Outreach Coordinator for the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and by night is a celebrated blogger.

His first novel is 'Down And Out In The Magic Kingdom'. He has collaborated with Charlie Stross online: <http://www.craphound.com/unwirer/> (it's a bit experimental!). His latest work is called 'Eastern Standard Tribe'.

Cory Doctorow gave a talk for OUSFG in Summer 2003. The group mind needed to write an Introduction For Cory Doctorow. This meant that Niall Harrison didn't have to write it himself, and a decent portion of the audience already knew what he was talking about, so it didn't matter that he messed the delivery up. He is speaking to OUSFG again in February 2005.
