Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey (<http://www.jackdaniels.co.uk/homepage/homepage.asp>) is a very popular brand of American whiskey. Often known as JD, especially in the phrase 'JD and coke'. Note that Jack Daniel's is not a Bourbon, it's a Tennessee whiskey; the latter are filtered through maple charcoal, whilst the former are not.
It is made in Lynchburg, which was at one point home to Rudy Rucker.
It is not related to Jack Daniels.
