Written by Charlotte Bronte. Almost universal school textbook, featuring the most weak-willed goody-goody heroine imaginable in what is supposedly one of the great books of English Literature, but is in fact little more than Mills and Boon with added Gothic horror. It is, however, a shining example of fiction when compared with Wide Sargasso Sea.
Charlotte Bronte's sister Emily wrote Wuthering Heights.
