Nina Kiriki Hoffman


American author of Fantasy Fiction whose work has been compared to that of Ray Bradbury and Charles De Lint. Has written over 200 short stories and six novels, the most recent of which is A Stir of Bones. Not (yet) published in the UK.

Hoffman is a peculiarly American fantasist. Most of her work is set on the West Coast (either California or Oregon), and has great appeal to teenagers as well as adults.

Along with Nalo Hopkinson, she was Guest of Honor at Wis Con 2002.
