Thames Valley Police

Oxford's police force. Despite the acronym, not made of texturised vegetable protein.

Their Oxford Police Station is located on St Aldates.

Their disturbing motto is "Reducing Crime, Disorder and Fear...". This grows even more disturbing when they leave the sliding doors open on their vans, and the partially obscured slogan reads: "Thames Valley Police: Crime, Disorder and Fear".

Most well known for Inspector Morse, which is probably a source of constant aggravation to them. Note that the building that Morse uses as a police station is the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory in the science area.

They have not yet been proven to be in league with the powers of darkness, although the fact that the Second Law Of Thermodynamics means that their motto should be impossible hints that they might be.
