A Minneapolis-based group of Fantasy Fiction writers who have gone on to be very influential in the field. Most of them no longer live in Minneapolis. These authors include Emma Bull and her husband Will Shetterly, Kara Dalkey, Pamela Dean, and Patricia Wrede. Many of them were first published by the editor Terri Windling in her 1980s tenure at Ace.
