An Alternate History novel by Stephen Baxter about a German invasion of Britain in World War II?. It's the fourth and final book in the Times Tapestry? series; the previous three featured unsuccessful attempts to changer history. Very well structured, very tightly written; one of Baxter's best recent novels. Oddly, less satisfying as a conclusion to the series than it is as a standalone novel.
