The Plymouth-Banjul Challenge has some rules to help to ensure that teams do not run the risk of falling into eternal destitution! RULE 1 Thou shalt not pay more than £100 for your Banjul banger! RULE 2 Thou shalt not spend more than £15 making it road worthy! RULE 3 Thou shalt not receive any support from the organisers during the rally! RULE 4 Thou shalt not use a right hand drive banger! RULE 5 Thou shalt not do a runner with your banger when you get to Banjul!* *All vehicles that survive the trip to Banjul must be handed over to the Challenge Control Group and auctioned off in aid of local Gambian charities. "Rules 1 and 2 may be bent somewhat to increase the odds of making it to Banjul. But if we break Rules 4 or 5 we'll burn in Hell!" |
