• Those telephone numbers again. Not meta, but i like them.
• Writers playing at meta tipping their hat to Jorge Luis Borges:
  • Umberto Eco - in 'The Name of the Rose', there's a mad, blind Librarian called Jorge of Burgos, a reference to the man himself
  • David Mitchell - in 'Cloud Atlas', a character refers to a book called "Remembrances', by Ireneo Funes, a reference to 'Funes the Memorious' (why not 'Memories', by I. Funes, eh?)

If i ever get my own domain, i'm going to call it tlon.org - and get the DNS hosted by uqbar.net. Which i will also have to own. Bandwidth supplied by forkingpathsnetworks.net! Etc.
