I am a keen enthusiast for NPE maps and Free the postcode etc.
However, I frequently find that it is difficult to locate a point on NPE maps, especially where an area has been redeveloped or was a green field in the 1940s.
Is there any scope for collaborating with OSM to enable the recording of postcodes directly onto OSM?

Currently we are unable to derive postcode data from OSM: see our FAQ for full details:

There are other options. You could add the postcode to OSM, or you could help locate postboxes [1]
