• OpenGuides is a heavily customised version of CGI::Wiki:
    • Specific metadata: address, postcode, telephone, lat/long, URL, et cetera. (example)
    • The usual Wiki Way editing method - creation and maintenance of pages is familiar.
    • Proper categorisation, unlike the kludgy hack on vanilla wikis and its associated use/mention problem.
    • RDF output for Semantic Web-type things. (example)
    • Distance calculation: "Show me all things [of type 'Pub'] in range '1km'." (example)
(Did I mention that this was conceived by members of london.pm?)
    • Map drawing (soon, probably with SVG.pm)
