• we used UseModWiki for our original London wiki
• it was good:
  • One script. 30-second installation.
• but on the other hand:
  • 4,000 lines of dense spaghetti code. Hacking on it makes your skull glow white-hot.
  • Basic wiki functionality wasn't enough for our requirements.
• we wrote our own wiki engine to do what we needed
