I've discontinued my blog. I wasn't actually writing anything in it. However, when random throughts appear in my mind, i'll often jot them down on a webpage, so the recent changes to the site is a blog of sorts. At present, the recent changes sucks a lot, because it's just filenames, without descriptions or proper titles. I plan to change that at some point; the script will look into each file, and try to extract a title (from the title element in HTML) and a description (from a meta description tag if there is one, else the first paragraph of text). I will need a scheme to deal with non-HTML files, and a cacheing mechanism, to avoid re-parsing every file every time the script runs. Basically, don't hold your breath. -- Tom 2004-09-25 01:18
