Television 'game show' of the mid eighties involving the rather cruel practice of pitting two against one, and a rather nice tesselating hexagon game-grid, covered in letters, where to objective was to forge a path of right answers either from top to bottom, or left to right, depending on your team. The path form top to bottom was one hexagon shorter, and so was the path of the one-person team, which was white, while the two person team was blue. Hosted by Bob Holness, the questions were asked in the format of choosing a letter, and then being asked a question whose answer would begin with that letter, hence a rather juvenile meme: "Can I have a P please, Bob?" I don't think this was ever actually said with intent to embarrass on the programme, but it certainly wasn't unheard of for mischievous contestants to exclaim: "I want U, Bob!" In these accursed days of txt talk and 'LeetSpeak' of course, it's probably even worse...
