SF-related events on their termcard for Michaelmas 2002 include:

• 2nd week (21/10/2002): the film 'War Games' <imdb:title/0086567>
• 4th week (4/11/2002): Kevin Warwick comes to town to spread the gospel of cyborg domination
• 5th week (11/11/2002): David Cliff comes and, disappointingly, fails to talk about HPDJ, instead talking about biologically-inspired complex systems or some such.

He's definitely done a talk on HPDJ at some stage. I think he's spoken at AI Soc at least three times, since HP? donated a nice wadge of sponsorship money to the society. --LP.

• 6th week (18/11/2002): Rebellion Games? come and talk about something (note that OUSFG may have them later in term as well)

A prospect that seems increasingly unlikely, given that I've yet to have a response to my emails. As a backup plan, I vote that Lyndsey books them for next term when they show up to A Isoc?... -- NH.

• 8th week (2/12/2002): OUSFG's own diva of brainwaves Lyndsey Pickup talks about brain-Computer Intefacing.

Which didn't happen because the whole schedule had to be re-organised around the fire strikes -- LP.
