'Mortal Engines' is, undoubtedly, a great name for an SF book. So good, indeed, that it has been used twice - once, in 1993, by Stanislaw Lem, and once, in 2002, by Philip Reeve?. Actually, Lem presumably used some Polish phrase which translates into English as Mortal Engines, but there you go.
The differences between Lems Mortal Engines? and Reeves Mortal Engines? are, at present, unclear.
This is why a title is not sufficient to uniquely identify a book.
