American writer of Fantasy Fiction and Science Fiction. One of the trailblazers -- he just turned 83! His work now seems pretty sexist, but it's enjoyable anyway. He's best known for Fahrenheit Four Five One, which was translated into Russian and freely-distributed in the USSR, a society renowned for its open-minded and liberal attitude towards subversive literature.
