For the last week or so I've refrained from upgrading xmonad on my Sid boxes because there is no xmonad-contrib 0.8. Is holding off on the upgrade the right thing to do if I want to avoid a dysfunctional WM?
I know DDs are very busy but I seem to remember the situation being the same when 0.7 came out, xmonad and libghc6-xmonad-dev where released in version 0.7 several days (weeks?) before libghc6-xmonad-contrib-dev. Is there anything I, as a non-DD, can do to make sure that xmonad-contrib is updated sooner?

I’m back from my holidays, sorry for the late reply. xmonad-contrib is in sid since 2008-09-07, according to [1]. What architecture is it on?
Note that I did delay it’s upload by a two or three days, so that all architectures can build xmonad first.
Greetings, Joachim
